Govt to spend 6 bln rbl on highways in 14 regions of Russia
MOSCOW, Aug 6 (PRIME) -- The government will allocate more than 6 billion rubles on repairs and upgrade of highway networks in 14 regions of Russia, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a government meeting on Thursday.
“We will also discuss an issue about allocating over 6 billion rubles on repairs and upgrade of the highway network in 14 regions. We will allocate the money on advance construction of roads under the presidential decree,” Mishustin said.
The money will be used until the end of 2020 in the national project for safe and high-quality highways and in the state program for development of the country’s transport system to repair eight hazardous bridges and about 300 kilometers of regional, municipal, and local roads, as well as on upgrades of street network in cities and in localities. The government is to sign corresponding agreements with regions within a month.
